These general guidelines help authors prepare and submit manuscripts to GRAP journals. Each journal may have additional, journal-specific instructions which should be checked carefully before submission.
Before you submit
Select the most appropriate GRAP journal for your work.
Ensure the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
Confirm that all authors approve the final version and submission.
Manuscript preparation
Prepare the manuscript in clear English with structured sections.
Include title page, abstract, keywords, main text, references, tables and figures as required by the journal.
Follow any specific formatting templates provided by the journal.
References & style
Use the reference style required by the selected journal (e.g. Vancouver, APA).
Ensure all in-text citations appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Check formatting of DOIs, volume, issue and page numbers.
Online submission process
Create or log in to your OJS author account for the chosen journal.
Follow the step-by-step submission wizard to upload files and metadata.
Provide complete author information, affiliations and ORCID IDs where possible.
After submission
You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail from the system.
The editorial office will screen the manuscript and assign editors and reviewers.
Authors should respond promptly to revision requests and editorial queries.
